Dr. Quaintance was raised in North Salem, NY, where she rode horses competitively and worked at the local foxhound kennel.
She graduated from The Wooster School in Danbury, earned her Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Quaintance has been a veterinary technician since 1994 and a veterinarian since 2006. She helped launch Versatile Vets in 2017 before expanding the practice into Danbury Animal Hospital, where she continues to provide compassionate, individualized veterinary care to families throughout the Greater Danbury area.

Dr. Theresa Kaeser helped establish Versatile Vets in 2017 before expanding the practice into Danbury Animal Hospital, where she has played an important role in creating the warm, down-to-earth culture that continues to define the practice today.
She believes veterinary medicine should feel collaborative, supportive, and centered around the individual needs of both pets and their families. Her compassionate approach and dedication to quality care have made her a trusted part of the Greater Danbury veterinary community.

Don Quaintance serves as Practice Manager and Chief of Operations, helping guide the practice from its beginnings as Versatile Vets to the welcoming hospital it is today. He takes great pride in creating a place where pets and the people who love them feel welcomed, supported, and treated with compassion.
Don earned his Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University and his Master’s degree from Meiji College.
Outside of work, Don enjoys fitness training, reading, and spending time with his family, including impromptu dance parties with his daughter and the occasional round of golf.
He shares his home with three dogs, including Chunk, a Bulldog and Labrador Retriever mix often found greeting clients at the front desk, and two French Bulldogs, Grumble and Gris, who keep life entertaining.
Don’s leadership, dedication, and commitment to building lasting relationships with clients and their pets continue to shape the welcoming culture at Danbury Animal Hospital.
